Going out of town? Here at Squankum Animal Inn, we'll treat your pet like family, and are proud to be their "home away from home." We are dedicated to providing the very best care for your pet, day and night. We offer boarding for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more! Give us a call to see if we will be able to offer accommodations for your pet.
Your Pet's "Home Away From Home"
All guests staying with us will enjoy:
- Piped-in music for relaxation
- Treats, toys & bedding are welcome
- You can bring your own food, or house food will be supplied
- Heated and air conditioned climate control
- Oral medication can be administered as needed
- Daily combing and brushing available while pet is boarded
Dog Boarding
Your dog should have a safe, clean place to board while you're away. Unless you request otherwise, each pet has its own personal space that's appropriate for their breed to rest and get exercise or playtime at least twice a day. We keep our pet guests' quarters clean and as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Our runs have indoor and outdoor access, and multiple dogs from the same family can be housed together in double large runs. We also offer specifically-sized runs for toy and small breeds. All runs are individual, covered, and shaded.
Play Time
At Squankum Animal Inn, we think play time is a necessity for dogs. We limit group play to dogs that are compatible; if we see aggressive behavior from your pup, they may need to sit out. No need to worry, all our animals get lots of personal attention and TLC. Your pup will have the chance to play with a member of our staff! We also offer exercise and walking programs.
Cat Boarding
Cats might seem pretty independent, but we know they need just as much love as dogs do. All of our cat guests have their own runs with indoor and outdoor access in a dog-free section of our boarding facility to provide them a safe and more relaxing personal environment. We have extra large areas available for 2 or more cats from the same family to board together.
